Format: 20k cycle (Winchester & nearby villages), 5k run (Palmers Field -> Hockey Viaduct and back), 2k kayak (river Itchen)
Terrain: Cycling on roads, including gentle hills. Run on a quiet, flat path following the River Itchen. Kayak down the River Itchen, launching from a dedicated pontoon.
Location: Meet Palmers Field. Travel together with bikes to the start at The Broadway, Winchester.
Individuals / Teams: Both welcome
Minimum age: 15+
Max participants: 300 to allow for smoothest possible running of the day
Experience level: Participants of all abilities welcome from first-timers to experienced racers.
Course time: Roughly 2 hours. Times vary greatly. Take as long as you like to finish, including rest stops between stages.
Timed event: Yes, chips provided. Rest periods between each stage do not count towards the final time.
Entry fee: £45 individuals. £75 team of 3
Race support: Marshals are located along all stages of the route, including assisting with water entry.
Spectators welcome: Yes, including at family friendly race village at Palmers Field.

1:45pm – Award presentations at Palmers Field
2:00pm – Event closes

Winchester Pedal Paddle Pace is a not-for-profit event. All proceeds go to support local good causes.
You do not need to fundraise to take part. You may like to use the event to raise money for causes you care about.
Participants get a T-Shirt and medal when they finish the event. If you don’t want these, you can opt out when you register.
