Are the roads closed?
No, this event takes place on open roads. There are road closures in place in the city centre at the start of the event, but these are in effect for approx. 15 mins.
Do I bring my own bike?
Yes, participants will need to bring their own bike for the event, as well as a Bicycle Helmet.
Can I use an electric bike?
Yes you can. But you will not be eligible for making the podium or receiving an award.
Where does my bike go when I am running/kayaking?
There is a dedicated bike area, such as you will see at a sprint triathlon, where your bike will be stored.
Are there lockers at the event?
No there are not.
Are there shower facilities at the event?
No there are not.
Can I park at the Guildhall or Palmers Field?
Parking is not suitable at either location. There are several car parks, with free parking on a Sunday, within a 5 mins walk from both locations.
